The term "Triple Chrome" has been used for years to describe a top quality chrome plating. The reality of the matter is that "Triple Chrome" does not exist. Instead, it refers to three layers or three metals, ending with chrome. Since there are no laws that define what "Triple Chrome" plating is, sales people often will use it to describe their service if it contains three layers of any kind.
No matter how you stack three layers, it is simply not enough.
