Tracking your wheel
CalChrome Customer Number Engraving The C# is visible both before and after plating. The wheel shown has been chrome plated. C# markings are still clearly visible.

To make sure that you receive the exact same wheel back when plating your wheels, we specially mark the wheel for identification throughout the entire plating process. Each wheel is engraved with a unique number, known as a C# (Customer Identification Number).

All C#s are marked in an inconspicuous place on the wheel, which will not be visible once the tire is installed. This ensures continuous, exact, progressive status of your wheels during our processing. Upon completion, if we have multiple wheels with the same number, . Or if you have wheels that we are not familiar with (aftermarket, custom wheels, etc), this ensures that you receive the exact same wheels back.

Our state of the art UPS shipping system links directly into the UPS supply chain database. This allows us to track incoming shipments, as well as tracking outgoing shipments that we have already processed. We are able to constantly communicate within our system, to follow and track customers packages throughout the total freighting system within the United States.
