Each Viper wheel requires diligent attention and custom detail to plate correctly. Therefore chrome wheel exchanges are not available. Often, older Viper wheels would require repairs before they could be used in a chrome wheels exchange. We prefer to process your exact wheels to prevent potential value problems. We process your exact wheels and will send back upon completion your exact same wheels. This ensures that your Viper will remain absolutely authentic.

You may send your wheels for plating with or without the tires mounted. There are pros and cons to each method. If you ship the wheels by themselves, you will save on freight costs. On the other hand, while shipping may be more costly with the wheel and tire together, the tire will protect the alloy wheel from damage during shipping transit. Keep in mind that if you send the wheels alone, you will be required to remount your tires with someone who may not be as qualified. For a nominal fee, your tires can be dismounted and remounted using our state-of-art Hunter Equipment after the completion of the chrome plating. While many facilities may not have the proper equipment to mount Viper tires properly (especially the 13" wide rear tires), we have years of experience installing Viper tires using the same equipment used in the Indy 500 races. When your tires are installed with us, you have peace of mind that your tires will be installed without the likelihood of damage (such as peeling of the chrome) from improper mounting or installation, which may happen with an inexperienced technician.
This may be an excellent opportunity to purchase new tires from us for your Viper since we can install tires upon completion of the chrome plating work.
For wheels that have slight curb damage, this is a great opportunity to have us repair the wheels and chrome plate them. As you know, the wheels on the right-hand side can be damaged by rubbing against the curb (e.g. when your lady drives the car). During the process of chrome plating your wheel, many times we can blend in slightly curb-scraped areas at no additional charge.
If your wheels have sustained minor curb damage (scraping), more often than not, your wheels will be able to be plated. The photos below are examples of acceptable curb damage that we are able to blend in during our polishing procedure at no additional charge.
